About Session
Finance teams have heard the pitch for single-task AI. The more interesting question is what happens once agents start handing work to each other and what that means for the people who used to own that handoff themselves. The real shift happens when finance processes stop operating in silos and integrated planning is a seamless, dynamic process. Work started in one function carries its context forward instead of stalling at the handoff, all the way through to a number someone can act on. This session addresses what that shift means for roles, judgment, and where people add the most value as agents carry more of the connective work.
Learning Objectives: You’ll leave with:
- An understanding of where agent-to-agent handoff is working today, and where it’s still ahead of us
- A way to think about which parts of a finance role shift, and which stay firmly human, as that handoff expands
- A framework for evaluating “agentic” claims from vendors without buying the hype
