Rory has been a CFO since the 1980s, starting his career running finance for a music label long before spreadsheets replaced ledger books. He spent 9 years as CFO of Foursquare, then took the CFO seat at Niche, where he now runs finance on an AI-native ERP. He’s watched the job change more in the last two years than in the previous twenty. In this session, Rory and Rillet’s Darragh Collins will cover what AI can realistically do for close, reconciliation, and reporting today, and what it means for CFOs and controllers building their careers in finance right now.
