About Session
First it was prompts. Then it was skills. Now the frontier is agent-native finance, and it is already in production at leading FP&A teams. Agents are running reconciliations, drafting variance commentary, answering stakeholder questions directly, and closing the loop on workflows that used to consume analyst weeks. This session is a working preview of what that looks like in practice: which workflows teams are handing to agents first, what has to be true of your data and controls before you can, and where the human still belongs. Attendees will leave with a clear-eyed view of how the FP&A role itself is being redefined.
Learning Objectives
- Identify the FP&A workflows that leading teams are delegating to AI agents in production today, and the characteristics that make a workflow a good candidate.
- Evaluate an organization’s readiness for agent-based workflows across data governance, system connectivity, and internal controls.
- Describe how the FP&A role and team structure change when agents handle execution, including where human judgment and review remain essential.
